The ever-popular biennial exhibition returns to Kirkby Gallery this winter to showcase the skills of local artists, with a focus on contemporary craft and design.
All of the pieces on display are unique and will be available to buy, ranging from small stocking fillers through to statement pieces. Choose something special for your someone special, or even just treat yourself!
A wide range of work will be included, including graphic prints, ceramics, sculpture, bespoke clothing, collages, textiles, paper cuts and badges, with something for all tastes and budgets
The exhibiting artists include: Anne Knight, Gray, Helen Jones, Julie Dodd, Kate Hill (Lola Starr), Kathrine Anderson, Kelly Loughlin, Kirsti Brown, Mandy Hills, Sarah Ryan and Steve Talbot.
To complement the exhibition, there will be a series of ‘Meet the Maker’ workshops where you can learn a new skill first hand and make something bespoke or even give a workshop voucher as a gift. Get a sneak preview of the exhibition before it opens to the public at the Crafted Private View on Thursday 28 November, 4.30-6.30pm.
Teachers are invited to attend a special Teacher First preview of the exhibition on Thursday 28 November, 3.45-4.30pm to see the bespoke educational learning resources inspired by the work on display. Schools can book self-led workshops and engage with the pieces in Crafted to explore design, numeracy and communication.
