If These Walls Could Talk
Six+ artists will transform shopfronts, cafés, community spaces, and everyday streets into glowing portals between our past and our future. Follow the trail map and you might stumble across: the fifty-year queer legacy of 36 Bolton Street, now home to GYRO; the radical shelves of News from Nowhere; the creative spark of FACT; and the warm allyship of Love Locks. And that’s just the start – more stories will be revealed along the way.
Follow the trail map. Spot the takeovers. Scan the QR codes and the walls will start talking – spilling out tales of protest and joy, loss and love, moments that shaped us and dreams still waiting to be written.
Follow @queerplaces or visit www.queerplaces.co.uk this November for the full trail.
