Heart Liverpool is delighted to announce She Emerges, an all-female art exhibition bringing together five UK-based artists exploring themes of growth, identity, transformation, resilience and becoming.
Opening on Friday 25 September 2026, the exhibition features Anchen Bamford, Alexandra Gace, Emily Blackmore, Kirsty Pennington and Jacqueline Csutor. Each artist brings her own creative voice and perspective to the experience of becoming who we are.
Five artists. Five perspectives. One invitation to emerge.
She Emerges celebrates the many ways women grow, change, find their voices and step into new seasons of life. Visitors are invited to consider their own journey — where they have come from, what has shaped them, and who they are becoming.
The exhibition also invites the wider community to become part of its story. At the opening night on Friday 25 September, guests will be encouraged to share words of encouragement and stories about women who have been influential in their own journey.
Whether it is a mother, grandmother, friend, teacher, mentor, colleague, artist or leader, the invitation is simple:

These stories will celebrate not only the five women whose artwork is featured, but the countless women whose courage, wisdom and encouragement have helped others emerge.
Living Artworks: Flowers, Art and Community
Floral artist Liz Tah Bash of Fustaq Florals will create living floral artworks inspired by She Emerges — celebrating the beauty, strength and fleeting nature of becoming.
Created specifically for opening night, these singular works will bloom for their brief moment before transforming and fading. These arrangements will be available to purchase, allowing guests to take a piece of the experience home.

She Emerges reflects Heart Liverpool’s commitment to bringing art, faith and community together, and will remain on display through Inspire, Heart Liverpool’s women’s conference on 20–21 November 2026.
