Indie demigod Jim Jarmusch’s 1989 movie Mystery Train presents three very different stories connected only by their setting in Memphis, Tennessee. With an ensemble cast that includes Steve Buscemi, Joe Strummer and Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, the movie is a classic vision of a weird America seen through the eyes of foreigners.
