Program

This 3 week course begins with an introduction to stencil graffiti and a brief look at the range of grafitti materials and how to use them. From creating multi layered stencils to using different techniques and spraypainted effects, you will find and develop your own style of urban art.

Tutor: David Andrews

David is a street artist based in Liverpool, bringing a taste of graffiti into shops, offices, hospitals and homes across the world. When he’s not painting large scale commissions or teaching workshops, he is constantly working on his own projects whether that be screenprinting, producing pieces for exhibitions or painting at urban art festivals including Upfest.

David is a seasoned teacher of street art as well as film making classes and has worked with a wide range of young people including A-Level students, pupils in a referral unit, young adults with learning disabilities, children in foster care and teenagers on the National Citizen Service.
