No need to book, drop in to Do Something Saturdays anytime between 12:00 – 15:00 on 2 and 16 March, 13 April, 11 May, & 8 June.
Come along to our free family workshops where we’ll explore games design, creative writing, virtual reality, and more!
This season, workshops are inspired by our new exhibition, On the other side. Design a machine to support you and your friends and bring it to life with 3D design, performance and virtual reality. Plus, join in with giant drawing games and other fun, hands-on activities.
Do Something Saturdays are free and take place on selected Saturday afternoons throughout the year. These sessions are suitable for ages 6-12. This season, workshops take place on 2 and 16 Mar, 13 Apr, 11 May, & 8 Jun. Workshops will be held in Studio/Lab, a new space for artists to experiment located on the building’s top floor.
GETTING HERE
When you arrive at FACT, please let a member of our Front of House team know that you’re here for Do Something Saturdays. They’ll accompany you to the lift and help you enter the code that will whisk you up to the third floor of the building, where you’ll find Studio/Lab.
As for the workshop, it’ll be held in the last room on the right along the pink corridor. When you exit the lift, please look out for welcome signs to guide you to the right spot.
