On the other side considers the impact of systems of control on those who design them, those who administer them, and those who are subject to their enforcement. The works encourage us to reconsider the everyday behaviours we learn and conform to, often without question, and how we might develop new relationships between those who hold power and those affected by it.
On this tour, you’ll discover more about new artworks by Melanie Crean and Katrina Palmer, as well as a work by Pilvi Takala. Charlotte shares more about the exhibition’s production, while LucÃa discusses what it has been like to work with artists and collaborators to produce the participatory works on display.
