This is an 8 week course will be held at two different centres Vauxhall Road Campus (the City of Liverpool College) and the Florrie.

The 8 week courses will start on the following dates:
Tuesday 26 January 2016 at The Florrie (Times TBC)
Wednesday 27 January 2016 at Vauxhall Road (Times TBC)

Have you ever wanted to meet artists and find out what they do?

Do you want to know how artists create their work?

Have you ever wondered how galleries decide what art to show?

Do you want to know how art can say something about your life and your community?

Then “The Making Sense if Art” is just the course for you!

If you are over 19 and have never taken part in a course before or even if you have, come along bring your friends, meet new people and get involved! No previous experience or knowledge of art is required for this unique, introductory course.

• You will take part in visits to the Tate Liverpool, workshops and group discussions led by local artist Kevin Hunt.

• We will introduce you to the Tate collection, artists and art making.

• You will learn new skills along the way and have the option to get an entry level 2 ASDAN qualification, worth six credits.
