Have you wondered about upcycling a piece of your furniture but don’t know where to start? Then this is the course for you. Join Peter at Childwall Emporium for a laid-back workshop on how to paint furniture.
This is a great workshop on how to use furniture paint and the steps you need to take to make your furniture into something really special. You will go through the furniture painting process from start to finish, and upcycle your old battered piece of furniture into a statement piece to be proud of. Some of the techniques you will learn include the two-tone colour effect, dry brushing and shabby chic. On the day you are advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear – chalk paint does not wash out, so old clothes are best. Light refreshments will be provided. The course is 12-4 pm and there is parking to rear and neighbouring roads.
We will supply all the painting material (paint, brushes, cleaners) needed to paint your piece. The only thing you need to bring is a small piece of furniture, for example, a small stool or side table.
If you are unsure of the size of furniture to bring then please contact us childwallemporium@gmail.com. If you would like we can provide furniture at a small cost.
