Smartphone Photography – dot-art at the Bluecoat
Sunday 14th May, 11am – 5pm, £40
This enjoyable hands-on workshop will you enable you to take photographs like a pro using just your smartphone camera. Smartphone cameras are different than “proper” cameras and so getting the best from them needs a different approach. Over the day you will learn how to “see” great pictures and how to make your phone capture them to their best; how to stop taking snapshots and to start creating photographs.
During the day we will discuss some simple theory to explain the different ideas covered in the course. Participants will then undertake practical excercises using their own phones to put these ideas into practice. Practical work might be indoors or outdoors depending on the weather.
