With the starting point of the romantic landscape responses of Turner, Blake and Palmer and a ballerina box kept since childhood, my images give visual form to the liminal state between inside and outside, light and dark, seen and unseen. I strive to invoke in the viewer a sense of quiet psychological territory and an inner sense of place and time.
