My paintings involve feelings (expressed visually and metaphorically)….. thinking experiments with a touch of irony and humour.
These paintings are psychology based and were originally initiated by my PhD research into feelings and learning [2010].
I paint with collage, printed impressions, translucent washes and impasto with acrylics on canvas – watercolours and mixed media on watercolour paper.
I continue to develop metaphorical images conveying feelings and emotions using representational and abstract forms, colour and texture.
