Should the voting age for elections across all the UK countries be lowered to sixteen?

FREE – RSVP

This issue came up in candid conversations with many of the young people across the UK who collaborated with us to create SIXTEEN.

In response we are hosting a debate with our partners Tate Liverpool. Speakers, young and old, will set out their arguments for or against the motion. A discussion with the panel and audience will follow, co-chaired by Ella Benson Easton and BBC Radio Merseyside’s Roger Phillips.

Join us for a lively and stimulating event on

Saturday 3rd August.

Optional 10.30am viewing of portraits specially selected from the wider SIXTEEN portfolio in the TATE Exchange space,

11.00am – 12.30 Debate in the 1st floor Clore Studio space
