PARTIA (Promoting Art in Aintree) is Aintree hospital’s art department; we are in charge of maintaining artworks and organising events around the site. We are looking to take on a number of artists who can supply art and ideas to PARTIA. We are constantly receiving requests for artworks from different parts of the hospital and it takes a lot of time to organise artist calls for each piece. We want to assemble a shortlist of artists who are interested in working with us on future projects.
Aintree University Hospital is home to a variety of art from abstract installation pieces to more traditional paintings. We are looking for a diverse team who are skilled in a variety of mediums; this opportunity is open to both established artists and those who are just starting out.
The ideal candidate:
• Must be able to work to a tight time frame and budget. There is often a short turnaround time for projects in the hospital and limited funds.
• Has to be reliable – we are a small team managing multiple projects and need artists who won’t let us down.
• Has great communication skills and the ability to work as a team, this role will involve liaising with other departments around the hospital.
If you are interested in this role please email PARTIA@aintree.nhs.uk with ‘Artist Panel’ as the subject to request an application form.
Interviews will take place in Liverpool on the 25th and 26th of June 2019.
