Visit the Exhibition Research Lab and see what the library of the future might look like in the information age with the Serving Library Exhibition.
Exhibition Research Lab is the first academic centre and public art gallery in the UK dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of exhibitions and curatorial knowledge, established in 2012 as part of Liverpool School of Art and Design.
Founded in 2011, The Serving Library comprises a collection of framed objects on permanent display in the gallery, a smaller collection of library-bound books, and a biannual arts journal (‘Bulletins of The Serving Library’) published both online and in print.
Supported by funding from Arts Council England.
