Sheila Rowbotham, acclaimed historian of feminism and radical social movements and a seminal figure in the women’s liberation movement in Britain, is coming to Bluecoat in the new year. The author discusses her new publication Rebel Crossings: New Women, Free Lovers and Radicals in Britain and The United States, a transatlantic story of radical pioneers at the turn of the 20th century.
Rowbotham will be joined by Queen of the Track, a zine and digital platform run by a tiny team of feminists and friends based in Liverpool.
