A writing workshop with writer-in-residence Pauline Rowe, taking inspiration from Tereza Zelenkova’s photographs of the Czech Republic landscape, images suggestive of mysteries, story and legend.
These works are intimate rather than documentary in style; as Zelenkova herself says: ‘I’m more interested in exploring the general poetics – of the landscape and stories tied to it – than in archiving individual legends or facts (Jerwood Photoworks Awards 2015).
Tereza Zelenkova is exhibiting work at Open Eye Gallery as part of the Jerwood/Photoworks Awards exhibition (28 October – 18 December 2016).
The event is free, however booking is required. Reserve your place at Open Eye Gallery, call +44 (0)151 236 6768 or email info@openeye.org.uk.
