This Wednesday at Liverpool Small Cinema we are joined by artists Toby Lloyd & Andrew Wilson invite you to re-evaluate hierarchies and power structures with a screening of their 48 minute moving image collage. Made for Flatpack Film Festival 10 The Fox & Hedgehog playfully presents the expert/amateur dichotomy from a diverse range of both recorded and stolen footage from accessible online sources.
The Fox & Hedgehog responds and builds upon Shunryu Suzuki’s observation that ‘In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities but in the expert’s mind there are few’.
Following the screening Lloyd & Wilson will lead a discussion about The Fox and Hedgehog project and the overlapping themes it shares with Liverpool Small Cinema.
Lloyd & Wilson (working collaboratively since 2012) have recently relocated from Newcastle upon Tyne to South Leeds where they are currently undertaking an ambitious East St. Arts live/work residency in a traditional back-back terraced house.
