Casual Cashier – £7.67 per hour (£8.60 per hour with holiday pay) plus staff benefits
The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed visual and performing arts centre situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
We are looking for Casual Cashiers to join our Finance team. The responsibility of this role is to provide an accurate and efficient administrative and cash counting service to record The Lowry’s daily takings. It is essential that the successful candidate is available to work short morning shifts, weekend days and Bank Holidays.
The successful candidate must have proven experience of counting large amounts of cash (more than £15,000.00) in bulk. You will need to be a good communicator and have excellent organisational and numeracy skills. Neat, legible handwriting and attention to detail is essential and experience of using a coin counting machine and note weighing machine is desirable.
