From our world – One Step On Textile Art

A friendly and informal group, living in the North-West, who have a
variety of qualifications and experience of textiles. We meet once a month to share ideas, techniques, and discuss projects.

Key aims of thegroup are to exhibit members’ work and to promote
textile art.

We organise occasional workshops with external tutors to develop our
work. The different interpretations of contemporary and traditional, and
the variety of techniques produced by group members, stimulates much discussion and support at our meetings.

As an exhibiting group there is a continuing impetus to explore and create new work. This is guided by a regular change of topic.
