Artist Open Call
Southport’s Wayfarers Arcade will be the location of the new Wayfarers Contemporary Art Fair. That will launch with a special preview on Thursday 16th July 2026 at 5pm and be open to the public for free from Friday the 17th to Saturday 18th of July 2026 between 10am and 5pm.
The fair will take place when Southport hosts the Royal Birkdale Open Golf tournament, that is set to bring a quarter of a million international visitors to the town. It will be promoted through a variety of content on art sector social media platforms and through a dedicated website. The fair’s aim is to showcase and celebrate UK creative talent, while supporting the cultural regeneration of the town.
