Date: 6.5.25 - 15.8.25

Location: Kirkby Gallery, Kirkby Centre, Norwich Way, Knowsley, L32 8XY
Wood engraving is both an art form and a skilled craft, with a history dating from Thomas Bewick (1753 – 1828) through to the many great and influential practitioners of the mid-twentieth century such as David Jones, Clare Leighton, Monica Poole and Eric Ravilious.
The 87th Annual Exhibition presents over 120 prints selected from an open submission to display a broad diversity of style and subject-matter by both members and non-members from the UK and overseas; all brought together by their commitment to excellence in an exacting medium.
Running concurrently at Kirkby Gallery is Letting in the Light, a collaborative Book Art exhibition. Click here to find out more
