Liverpool based Artist David Jacques is showing a body of recent work at the Bridewell Gallery titled ‘The Cyborg Insects and the Sargasso. The Sargassum
and the Entrepreneur’.
Comprising of 24 collaged panels, a looped video and text, the work builds upon the surreal, mythologically infused narratives evidenced in his previous multi-media projects (‘Oil is the Devil’s excrement’, ‘Beaufort sea Phantasmagoric’) and continues his ongoing critical engagement with Climate crisis issues.
