We are launching our visual arts exhibition supported by Smithdown Social Arts Hub this year as part of the festival. The exhibition will run for two weeks, so you be able to catch it at the Hub. Local artists are given the opportunity to showcase their talent and we will be working closely with them to provide art workshops based around them and their practice. Come and visit the gallery in the heart of Smithdown to see what all our artists have to offer and book yourself onto one, or all of their workshops for a deeper insight into their practice.
Hellen is passionate about using photography as a visual tool to tell stories about people and their relationship with the natural world.
Oke Ugonna would categorise his art practice into three parts landscape, portraits and the work he does on African masks and sculptures.
Tony is a is a DJ, Broadcaster at Melodic Distraction. We are proud to be launching Tony as a self taught fine artist and will be celebrating his work as a visual artist.
Petronelle leads the Merseryside Congolese Association and will be presenting a series of artifacts she has collected.
