Join us for the exhibition opening on Thursday 31 August, from 5:30pm to 7pm
Featuring recent graduates and emerging makers working across a range of disciplines and media, this show highlights the ‘makers to watch’ of 2023.
This year, we have looked at Green Grads who are making contemporary craft which is high quality, well designed and sustainable. We have also researched recent new makers from presentations including Fresh at the British Ceramics Biennial, as well as Collect and the Crafts Council’s new makers selections over the past couple of years, to offer more of a general overview of ‘makers to watch’.

With this new display, we are delighted to resume our evening exhibition opening events. Join the team and some of the selected makers on Thursday 31 August between 5:30pm – 7pm (entrance via the College Lane gate). Refreshments will be provided and Friends of the Bdc will receive a 10% discount on all purchases from the gallery during the event.
