Volunteering Opportunities with Dippy on Tour: A Natural History Adventure across the North West.

The world famous Diplodocus dinosaur cast from the Natural History Museum is on a national tour and he will arrive in Rochdale, his only North West stop, in February 2020. Dippy will be wowing visitors in Rochdale from 10 February 2020 to 28 June 2020.

Dippy’s visit to Rochdale is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the region and you could be part of it.

We’re looking for around 100 people to fill 4 different volunteer roles.

As a volunteer you’ll be working alongside staff teams during Dippy’s stay in Rochdale from February to June 2020. You’ll be based at our 2 Dippy venues, Meet Dippy at Number One Riverside and the Dippy Exhibition at Touchstones Rochdale.

You don’t need to have previous experience of volunteering, or be a dinosaur expert to get involved. You just need to enjoy meeting people, have a friendly and helpful attitude and lots of enthusiasm.
