This year, 55 artists will join the roster of Bloomberg New Contemporaries, which includes previous exhibitors Jake & Dinos Chapman, Tacita Dean, Mona Hatoum, Damien Hirst, David Hockney and Mike Nelson.
2014 marks the 65th anniversary of New Contemporaries which has been funded by Bloomberg since 2000, and selectors Marvin Gaye Chetwynd, Enrico David and Goshka Macuga have chosen works by the most promising artists emerging from UK art schools from 1,400 submissions. An integral part of Liverpool Biennial since 1999, this year’s show will launch at World Museum before touring to ICA, London from 26 November 2014 – 25 January 2015.

Showcasing final year students, graduates and artists one year out of study, the annual national touring exhibition has consistently been a barometer of contemporary art practice, shining a spotlight on the hottest talents of the year.
