Tmesis Theatre’s Physical Fest presents DOUBLE BILL – Mary Pearson, Klowns and Conflux’s performances

Physical Fest are very excited to support two Fest favourite’s, in the creation of their new work. Mary Pearson and Klowns will present short versions of their new pieces, and we welcome back Conflux’s international residencies to perform two extracts of new work.

Mary Pearson – If you were a hundred of me
“Entertainment wants to give you what you want. Art wants to give you what you don’t know you want.” – David Cronenberg. I want to give you something that you don’t know that I didn’t know that you wanted.

A multi disciplinary solo homage to the avante-garde and experimental, to kitsch, shtick, and academia, to snobbery, trash tv and easy laughs.

Klowns- We’ve Writing A Play

KLOWNS are here. They are the hot new theatre company. They mean business. Presenting what they believe to be a timeless tale of death and love, bursting to show you their talents in new writing, directing, acting, singing and dancing. The only glitch: they don’t really know what a show is.

Rooted in traditional clowning techniques and straddling style, genre and a range of capabilities KLOWNS are captivating in their cluelessness.

“Very funny, contemporary entertainment that appeals to a wide audience.” Sarah Bennett- ComComedy

Conflux will present two extracts of physical theatre created through its annual International Residencies Programme.
