An exhibition of works by Claire Stringer, influenced by the music of Andy Muir
This is my first exhibition of new works since ‘Momentum’ at the Unity Theatre in 2008. There will be a mixture of drawings, printmaking and painting. The inspiration for the work has come from listening to music created by Andy Muir, who lives and works in Berlin. One track in particular ‘Bird Dub’ led me to drawing birds, while listening to the music. Letting the rhythms of the tune bring out the patterns in the flight.
