Calderstones Park – Drawn from Life  22 – 28 February 2010
Works from Life and Memory is a group show of drawings, paintings, sculpture, print and glass. Demonstrations of crafts such as stone carving, drawing and painting will take place in the week. Selected artists from Merseyside have come together to make an exhibit of works primarily drawn from life.
Portraits, landscapes and narrative works form the basis of a strong exhibition from both professional and young amateur artists. Pupils from nearby Calderstones Park School have been invited to take part after attending the Sculpture School project, which takes place in schools across the North West.
