The Private View takes place on Friday 22 February, 7pm until late and
includes a transgender live art performance by the legendary Mandy
Romero, Liverpool’s ‘Queen of Culture’ during 2008.
Message or Further Details:
Following the success of the first two Erotic Art exhibitions the 2013
edition presents a range of work including paintings, photography and
sculpture by twelve artists. The annual exhibition presents work
intended to evoke arousal in the viewer.
Artists this year include internationally acclaimed fine artist
Matthew Stradling, award-winning photographer Gregory Brown and
digital artist Robert Babylon currently exhibiting in Las Vegas,
amongst others including: Len Gifford; Tim Richards; Tim Rosier; James
HL Beattie; Lindi Kirwin and Ray Leaning.
To accompany the exhibition The Gallery has also created a fetish and
bondage corner. This show is strictly “adults only” and visitors
are advised to leave any inhibitions at the door.
Fiona Dunn from The Gallery adds, “We were delighted with the
responses we received in previous editions; this has prompted us to
make the exhibition an annual celebration of a less-widely celebrated
art genre. The exhibition aims to counteract taboos on the subject of
erotica and comes at a good time for Liverpool, bringing it closer to
events and groundbreaking exhibitions currently taking place in
