29 – 30 September 2012
Free painting workshops for families at the Walker Art Gallery
On Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 September 2012 the Walker Art Gallery is inviting young artists and their families to a weekend of splashes, splatters, splodges and squirts!
To celebrate the opening of the John Moores Painting Prize the gallery is hosting Splashes & Splatters, a colourful painting workshop for all ages, which explores different materials and techniques.
Staff at the gallery will encourage visitors to follow in the footsteps of previous John Moores artists, such as David Hockney, Sir Peter Blake or this year’s winner, Sarah Pickstone.
