Macro / Micro’ brings together work showing two facets of nature as depicted by artist David Grimbleby; the “Macro” as in macrocosm and the great world around us which is depicted in David’s more conventional landscapes; and the “Micro” or more detailed representation of nature which focuses in on minutiae. Some of the fascinating materials David has used are found natural objects such as seeds, leaves, dried grass, petals and thistledown and hand-made papers; each material adding it’s own connection to nature and textural elements.
