Viewing: 22 November at the rear of the Liverpool School of Art and Design,
Transmission presents a diverse range of work which acknowledges
themes of communication, containment and freightage. This group of
artists aim to address both the ability and failure to communicate
with the world and how Liverpool was built upon its global trade. The
space itself ignites notions of containment both in a physical and
mental sense, as well as evoking further ideas of freightage based
around the comings and goings of shipping containers.
