15 May 2015
4pm – 10pm
Visitors are invited to Tate Liverpool for LightNight 2015 and enjoy an evening of special events. Open until 22.00, people can enjoy a late night viewing of exhibitions and displays alongside free activities programmed for the evening. Tate Liverpool will host the launch of LOOK/15’s bi-annual photography festival during LightNight and visitors can look forward to an evening of images, sound installations and DJing presented by international artist Anna Fox, live in the foyer. Tate Liverpool’s The Soup Collective, a group of artists with connections to the gallery, will be hiding their artworks around the building in unexpected places for people to find. Families can drop into the free workshop Paper & Scissors with Miniclick and have fun creating their own collages inspired by the works on display in György Kepes. Tate Liverpool Café will also be offering a special Light Night menu and a cocktail happy hour from 17.00-21.00 with 2 for 1 on cocktails.
