This performance event includes three brand new creative provocations challenging us to rethink ‘the act of reading’, from the perspectives of contemporary finance, technology and performance.
The Torque #2 symposium and performance day marks the start of a 6-month programme of work on The Act of Reading, which will also include a 2-day booksprint at Tate Liverpool 7-8 February, an exhibition at Furtherfield during March-April, and a new publication of essays and writing-on-reading.
