Three interwoven stories unlock the frustrations and passions of characters struggling with their bank balances, their addictions, their histories and their own sense of self. Follow our three characters in a carefully crafted story about lives and loves and the social systems they have come to depend upon.
Benefit is an interactive piece of Forum Theatre, after the performance audience members are encouraged to get up on stage and offer their own approach to the lead character’s situation. All the performers have experience of homelessness. After Lantern theatre, the team will be taking the show to a variety of hostels, centres, shelters and prisons around the country.
A play by Sarah Woods. Produced by Cardboard Citizens
