St. Helens Open Art Exhibition1 – 23 December 2009 & 4 – 16 January 2010
The St. Helens Open Art Exhibition has established itself firmly on The Godfrey Pilkington Art Gallery calendar as a major annual event. Offering artists of all abilities aged 16 or over, who live, work or study in the Borough, a real opportunity to participate in what is now seen as a very prestigious exhibition, not only in St.Helens but also in the wider community.
With application forms available from October, works of art in all media, glass, sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, video and other digital media are all accepted.
Over the years, the St.Helens Open Art Exhibition continues to grow in popularity with artists and the public alike, serving as an impressive reflection of the enthusiasm for quality artwork being produced and appreciated within the Borough.
Exhibition preview and prize-giving: Monday 30 November, 7.00pm-9.00pm
*Please note that The Godfrey Pilkington Art Gallery will be closed from 23 December 2009 until 4 January 2010.
