This exhibition features artists that have been in residence at Liverpool Hope as part of the AA2A Artist’s Access to Art Schools Project.

The exhibition features: Matthew Bailey, Fiona Candy and Kirsten Little

Since October 2015, Kirsten Little, Fiona Candy and Matthew Bailey have been AA2A artists-in-residence in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at Liverpool Hope University. Their work is currently on show in The Cornerstone Gallery. Each artist has selected from work made over recent months to convey current themes and approaches within their own practice. These include works in progress, trials and experiments as well as more conclusive pieces.

Before the exhibition closes, Matthew, Fiona and Kirsten will be in attendance in the gallery on Thursday 21st April between 2 pm and 5 pm, at which time they will be pleased to chat about the work on display and answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to just drop in, all welcome.

The AA2A Project provides placements for visual artists and designer makers in Higher and Further Education Institutions across England. Participants are able to undertake a period of research or realise a project, using workshops and supporting facilities in participating fine art and design departments.
