Victoria Foster is an illustrator and designer-maker with a background in contemporary fine art practice.
She lives and works between fields and forest in the South east of England .
Fascinated by the seemingly ordinary, beauty found in the everyday and the overlooked, work often references rural environments, familiar objects from domestic life, snippets of history, half-truths and folklore.
Her intricately drawn pieces employ repetition , layering , collage and abstraction often suggesting a gentle sadness of passing things.
