Sally Booth exhibition
17 November 2009 – January 2010 (EXTENDED)
Recipient of the Adam Reynolds Memorial bursary, Sally Booth was artist in residence at the Bluecoat earlier this year, supported by Shape and Tate Liverpool. She returns with a series of photographic light-boxes inspired by the changing light and shadows of the beautiful oval windows in her studio. The exhibition part of Dada Fest 2009.
‘The Bluecoat’s beautiful oval windows inspired me from the beginning. I photographed the light and shadows cast by the windows. Sometimes light, diffuse and soft; sometimes abstracted, sharp or almost invisible’.
