Deep in the woods, a woman is prisoner. But is her captor a predator of her body or mind? Fairytale and reality blur in a menacing, entertaining exploration into the dark side of human nature.
Devised by Chris Fittock and Tmesis Theatre Wolf Red is the dark and compelling story of a woman held captive, deep in the woods, by a predator of perhaps both her mind and body. This skilful, physical performance from Tmesis Theatre’s artistic director, Elinor Randle will mesmerise audiences with her remarkable and chilling transformation.
Directed by Yorgos Karamalegos, Wolf Red is a feast for the eyes and ears with amazing visuals and original music. Beautiful set and costume design from local designer Lois Maskell, poignant lighting from designer Arek Chrusciel and playful soundtrack from Meike Holzmann add to the enthralling experience of Wolf Red.
Audiences will witness the boundaries of Fairytale and reality blur beyond recognition in this compelling production.
