Tom George presents ‘Tallness’

This February 9th 2007, poet and musician Tom George returns to Liverpool’s Unity theatre with a one-man show combining poems, songs, sketches and monologues exploring where the truth LIES.

“In a time of fundamentalisms, political spin, rabid advertising and media hype, truth is everything and nothing”

“In the infinite perspective of now, the sanest option is to be confused”

“Mummy, why is Mr Darwin’s beard on fire?”

Guest stars Tony Blair, David Icke and Major Charles Ingram give a masterclass in twaddle, and after a taste-test in the belief supermarket, we are invited to watch the crash of logic.

Tom George has been performing poetry and music in Liverpool since 1999.
As well as performances in France, Spain and Nigeria, he has appeared on Channel 4 Television, Radio Merseyside, at Glastonbury festival, and countless North-West events.

With a style that has been described as witty, wistful and surreal, his two previous Unity performances drew acclaim:

“Mr George impresses over a range of disciplines…I urge you to catch his next show” – Black and White magazine
