A cast of sixteen, featuring an eight-strong all-women Greek Chorus and two child actors in an original adaptation by the poet and writer, Jonathon Bibby.
Burjesta’s latest production is  Euripides’ Medea, a classic tale of horror and revenge. All ticket proceeds are going to a fund to install in-house sound and lighting into The Casa. This will in turn create a fringe theatre and performance space in the heart of the theatre district, accessible and affordable to all.
* Channel 4 are making a documentary about The Casa, its history and how it’s used. They’ll be filming the opening night of our production of Medea on Monday 23 as well as interviewing members of the cast and crew of Burjesta Theatre. Come along and get involved!
Please note there will be a Q & A session following the Wednesday 25 performance with invited guests.
