Fancy a late brew?
This display of pottery will be taking place on Wednesday 13 April 2011 at Bold Street Café “Brew” 18-21.00.
The event is celebrating the success of the Pottery Evening Class run by Louise Waller.
As there is uncertainty about the future of Creative Evening Classes we want people to recognise and celebrate the value of learning new skills for pleasure and leisure.
Visitors to the display at Brew will have the opportunity to meet the evening class members, ask questions, eat cake, drink lovely tea and be amazed by the works of Ceramic Art all developed by students during the 24 week course. Our class is a mixture from complete beginners to those who have several years experience.
Lee Browne says:
“I initially joined the class with some skepticism but quite quickly felt relaxed in the group and part of a friendly and creative environment. Louise offered plenty of support and encouragement and I have learnt many things and produced some items that I am very happy with. I also always found the class to be a fantastic way to unwind after a busy day.”
Exhibiting artists include: Tiia Adamson, Francis Irving, Zelda Baveystock, Lee Browne, Jane Loveday, Michela Morleo, Nicky Mulcahy, Sakib Shamas, and Colin Williams
