We are seeking a dedicated Wardrobe Manager to lead the day-to-day activities and operations of our Wardrobe Department and help inspire our students.  In this role, you will manage staff and resources, oversee costume production for LIPA’s shows and events, and provide practical demonstrations and instruction to students.  The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the Wardrobe Department areas and undertake the financial and record keeping duties related to the activities of the department. 

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Theatre Costume or equivalent, with at least three years’ professional experience as a costume cutter, maker or supervisor in a production department.  Prior experience as a manager/deputy manager in a production wardrobe department is essential.  You will be proficient in wardrobe department operations, stock management, budgeting and consumables tracking.  Experience collaborating with students, designers, performers and technicians is essential, teaching or instruction experience in a Higher Education or Further Education environment is desirable.
