Role Details –

If strategic communication, championing creativity, and working across lots of interesting projects at once excites you – then you could be the person we’re looking for as our Senior Communication Officer, Children and Young People.

Based within the Arts Council’s national Advocacy and Communications team, this role will also work very closely with the Arts Council’s Children and Young People (CYP) team. The CYP team works across the Arts Council, and with partners, to ensure children and young people have access to creativity in their lives: in and out of school, and from early years through to early adulthood. This work spans policy, investment, advocacy and development programmes.

We are looking for somebody who can tell the story of this work effectively, and who will use their skills to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including the wider Advocacy and Communications team – from media and stakeholder engagement to internal communication and marketing.

On a daily basis, you will plan and execute communication both to inform stakeholders, and to advocate for the benefits that creativity brings to young people.

We are looking for someone comfortable with juggling a few different priorities at once, to make connections and drive efficiencies, and with the enthusiasm to make a positive impact through accessible communication.

If this sounds like you – please do read the job description and consider making an application. Or get in touch with us if you have any questions.
