The Garrick Academy of Performing Arts is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Tutor to add to its successful Saturday teaching team.
Working with young people, aged 8-18 years, we are seeking a committed and experienced teacher who is skilled in dance, music and drama (two of the three skills are required). During the course of the year you may be called upon to devise new work, or direct a play or a musical, with any one of our three age groups, therefore a range of theatre and musical theatre skills is required.
Being a team player is essential at the GAPA, as is being able to commit to every session we offer the teacher, and our teaching hours are 9.00 am – 1.30 pm, Saturdays, term time (three terms of ten consecutive weeks, plus some possible additional hours during show weeks). The role will commence from January 16th, 2016, and you will be joining us half-way through the rehearsal process of our latest production.
The rate of pay being offered is £24 per teaching hour.
