Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week) with some evening and weekend working required.

Location:  Warrington Museum & Art Gallery with some remote hybrid working possible.

Contract Type: 2 Years Fixed Term

Salary: £34,248 to £37,967 (pay award pending)

We’re on the lookout for a new Museum Development Manager, working for Culture Warrington at Warrington’s Museum and Art Gallery. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is passionate about museum collections, with ambitions to lead and embed positive change within our beautiful heritage site.

Culture Warrington is the one-stop shop for art, history and entertainment in the heart of Warrington’s Cultural Quarter.

This is an opportunity to join our senior team at an exciting time for Warrington’s leading cultural organisation as we embark on a two-year journey to achieve our key priorities at Warrington Museum and Art Gallery; to create a high-performance culture, discover the voice of the collection, and reach new audiences.

The successful candidate will reinvigorate and support the experienced team at Warrington Museum and Art Gallery. You will be instrumental in driving our aspirational vision and sense of purpose within all areas of work, programmes and collections.

Culture Warrington offers 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays) and automatic enrolment into the Cheshire Pension Fund.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, resilient and determined, who can build relationships with stakeholders and funders, adopt a distinctive approach to each of our valued services and help us to tell the story of our collections to ensure they meet their full potential.

Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for more information.

If this sounds like you, please send a completed Application Form and Equal Opportunities Form to businesssupport@culturewarrington.org by midday on closing date Monday, 30 September 2024 with interviews taking place on the week commencing Monday, 14 October 2024.
