Customer Support Agent (Fixed Term), The Lowry

Job Title: Customer Support Agent (Full-time; fixed-term)

Temporary period of work: October 2025 – March 2026

Salary: £12.60 per hour plus holiday pay and staff benefits

Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations. QuayTickets is our in house primary ticket agency selling tickets for Lowry and for over 20 other cultural venues and visitor attractions across the UK.

​

Located within Lowry, Quaytickets is an award-winning ticketing agency at the heart of the UK’s live entertainment scene. We provide ticketing services for the Lowry’s theatres, galleries, and educational workshops, as well as for over 20 clients nationwide. From theatre and opera to comedy, festivals, and immersive experiences – we help audiences access unforgettable events.

We are looking for a Customer Support Agent to administer and respond to customer queries, complaints and appreciations, delivering the very best customer experience through multiple channels, including e-mail, social media and click to chat. The position will be based in the Quaytickets contact centre located within Lowry and will be part of the customer support team.

​

You will be responsible for ensuring customers are kept informed and all responses are within service levels and ensure customers remain net promoters of Lowry. 

​

Excellent communication and customer care skills are essential along with a flexible approach to working. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering outstanding care in a contact centre or customer service role, where administration forms part of that role.

​

  • Excellent contact centre customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner.
  • Confidence using computerised systems – full training will be provided.

Please note that the working pattern for this role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
